About Jcraft Ltd

Based in Sidlesham, West Sussex, Jcraft was founded in 2005 by builder and designer of the range Jamie Dobson, an industry expert with a lifelong love of the water and boating.

From humble beginnings Jcraft has grown through reputation, reccomendations and product quality alone to become in 2010 a respected brand with an ever growing number of customers who vote with their feet by returning year after year for advice, repairs, maintenance services or to source a new build.

Jamie’s solid CV shows a career spanning from 1993 firstly building the BWM and Tohatsus then moving on to become the sole builder of the original Ballistic RIBs.

Skills and experience gained from actively building Rigid Inflatables from start to finish combined with working on and sea trialing RIBs from various manufacturers brought an unparalleled advantage in knowing just what makes for a superior boat in terms of the quality of build and design features.

Professional and personal experience is combined into the build and design of the whole Jcraft model range and our industry original build concept is that of a heavy and powerful commercial build hull as a base for contemporary design features. Our emphasisis is on practicality of use which we combine with a high end leisure finish that can be customised to suit through a choice of colours and extras.
