Jcraft Build Quality

Every Jcraft rigid inflatable (rib) and accessory product is manufactured with an intense attention to detail. From the mouldings through to the finished product each stage is rigorously quality checked to the highest standard. We are proud to say that all our Plugs, moulds and rigid inflatable boats are constructed entirely in our workshop in the UK and are therefore overseen from start to finish. All materials used are Lloyds approved and of the highest quality within the industry.

Superior RIB Design

Our extensive research and experience has been used to address problems we ourselves have experienced in other RIBS this has culminated in our use of an original hull design that ensure a smoother and faster ride. The addition of our uniquely designed consoles that use a well thought out approach solves the commonly found problem of poor siting of steering and controls by siting controls where they are needed rather than where may be easier or more convenient for manufacturing. Our original seating designs correct common problems such as knee jarring, lack of legroom and back support.

The GRP RIB hull

Jcraft ribs have an original hull design developed in-house. Our hulls are laid up with a combination of mainly stitch- wovens and chopped strand mat (CSM) and have fantastic sea keeping qualities which creates a smoother and faster ride. All chines and stems are reinforced with Kevlar and filled. We use Isophalic resins thereby greatly reducing the risk of osmosis.

Every aspect of a Jcraft rib receives the attention to detail that comes from both experience and a passion for building boats with great durability and sea keeping qualities.

Fuel tanks

All Jcraft models are fitted as standard with specially designed plastic tanks ranging from 25l to 150ltr capacity. As an optional extra we can fit our 316 stainless steel long range tanks that on the 6.8-7.5m models are 200ltr, 50ltr more than the short range industry standard enabling reduced refueling stops and extended journey times.

Hull Tubes (sponsons)

The Hypalon fabric used for all our tubing has a 10 year guarantee. (5 yr for commercial use)  Internally seamed and bonded with the best Lloyds approved quality glue on the market our bespoke service means that for all models excepting the Jcraft 290 tubes are availiable in the full range of 25 colours as standard.
